Jan de Rooy and Weweler have won Africa Race

AFRICA RACE
Jan de Rooy has won the first edition of the Africa Race equipped with Weweler® springs in the front and the back. The race has been organised by Hubert Auriol and follows the previous Dakar route. 

DAKAR RALLY
Security fears forced the original Dakar Rally to switch continents and move to South America where it takes place in Chile and Argentina. In this race, Gerard de Rooy is also driving a truck equipped with Weweler® springs.

Today Gerard has won his 3rd stage 1'42 ahead of the Russian driver Vladimir Chagin (Kamaz) who won the rally five times, and 2'12 ahead of the Czech driver Alès Loprais (Tatra). 

The performance of the De Rooy Team and the experience of the skilled driver and his navigator, are the basic ingredients for this excellent performance.
